The corners of this cross feature a triple-scalloped design, traditionally Orthodox, symbolizing the Holy Trinity.
One of the main features of this cross is the center, adorned with the traditional 4C Cyrillic letters, representing: Само Слога Србина Спасава, 'Samo Sloga Srbina Spasava', and 'Only Unity Saves the Serbs'. From these 4Cs, chevrons extend toward each of the four corners. These chevrons have many symbolic meanings: the angular v-shape design represents strength and protection, progress and growth, unity and connection and military honour, service and valour.
